Alicia + Alan

Meet Alicia and Alan. I met this adorable couple at the end of last year at a local coffee shop where we chatted about their wedding and style. When we talked about doing engagement photos, one thing I told them was that I wanted a complete stranger to be able to see their images and instantly know this couple. Our shoot last Saturday proved exactly what I wanted because our location had emotional attachment. Alicia and Alan fell in love on his boat, they spent the summer months of '06 on the water together, getting to know one another and discovering they couldn't live without the other.

Chassie + Kirt

Meet Chassie and Kirt. I met this wonderful couple at Stephanie and Richard's wedding back in the fall and met with Chassie a few weeks afterward to talk about her own wedding. This is such a cool couple! I'm so glad their engagement session finally got here, I've been looking forward to it for months! Chassie told me that Kirt is really big into playing pool and that it was something they had started to do as a couple. As soon as the words left her mouth my lil brain started painting pictures in my head of all the cute images we could get of that.

We began our shoot at the always fabulous Coolidge Park.

Baby Collin + Family

This past weekend I made the trip to Shelbyville, TN to meet adorable eight month old Collin. It seems like a short time ago I was meeting Collin's parents, Danielle and Bob for the first time to do their engagement pictures and beautiful Florida wedding....

Time with friends...

While working in the Nashville area this past weekend, I had the chance to hang out with some friends from college.

Meet Amy a.k.a. Dr. Phil & personal cheerleader. She was my roommate in college.... oh the good times we had. I don't see her nearly enough, we gotta hang out more often chickie! Thanks for the laughs and therapy!

Meet Chad, whom I met at the CCMA's many moons ago and have since considered him my brother. Chad's a fascinating guy with tons and tons of awesome stories. Why he doesn't have a blog to share all those great stories is beyond me?!?! Chad and I had the chance to do some shopping in one of my favorite places in the world, Franklin, TN. Everytime I go I visit it makes me want to move there!

Since college, two of my best friends, who were never really close friends with each other, have both gotten jobs at an exclusive company and see each other all the time. I find that odd... not to mention unfair.

Brooklynn + Cake = Good Times

Meet Miss Brooklynn, who just celebrated her very first birthday. In honor of this milestone, she had a big party and invited me along.

Playing in the cake seemed like a great idea, until she saw it on her hands, then she wasn't such a happy camper.
