Did you know...

Little known facts you might find amusing...

1. Before every wedding, I watch the beginning of "The Wedding Planner" to get myself into the j-lo state of mind. Sometimes I skip ahead and watch the dancing in the park scene... just because Matthew is a sexy hunka man.

2. I am rarely ever seen without my iPod. On stressful days, I like to chill out after dark on my front porch and rock out. (That way no one can see me singing.)

3. Before changing to photography, I was an Artist Management major in the Recording Industry at MTSU and worked part-time as an assistant for Kenny Chesney.

4. I love the color lime green. It's such an energetic and fun color.

5. I'm scared to death of snakes. I once took an F on my Anatomy mid-term because we had to watch a video about snakes and the mere sight of one gives me nightmares for weeks.

6. Beginning at the age of 6 through age 14, I sold single pieces of bubble gum on the school bus for 0.25 each out of a lime green pencil holder box. For a good many years, I sold 375 pieces a week, (15/5 packs) and made $90 bucks a week in profits. The gum biz got me my first car, my first camera and my first year of college. Thanks Bubblicious!

7. In high school, my dream was to be an orthopedic surgeon. During my 1st, 2nd and 3rd year I volunteered as the assistant athletic trainer to my high school's sporting teams as a way of learning about the profession. During my Jr year I was offered a scholarship from an area hospital to pursue orthopedic's but later turned it down to study recording industry. (I still can't understand why I did that...)

8. From birth til about 4 years ago, I was maybe one of the shyest people you'd ever met. During my public speaking class in college, I actually faked laryngitis only to have my speaking time doubled and scheduled for a later date. (My class had roughly 300 people in it.)

9. On my way to a downtown Atlanta wedding in June of 2005, my brake pad fell off my car on I-285. I lived but I'll never be the same.

10. I'm a sap. I cry at least once at every wedding, usually during the ceremony and the father/daughter dance. I cry again when I'm watching the online slideshow.
